In September 2018, we launched the pilot version of our Improving [Your] Science course at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
This course was designed to provide incoming PhD students with a solid foundation of responsible and reproducible scientific practice. The aim is to make their PhD research easier (for them) and more robust, as well as to prepare them for the gradually changing scientific landscape (in terms of reward structures, prioritization of outputs, and acceptable quality standards).
The course materials can be found here.
The next edition of the course will take place in October 2019. The plan is to run the course twice a year from then on.
