Good scientific practice

In September 2018, we launched the pilot version of our Improving [Your] Science course at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

This course was designed to provide incoming PhD students with a solid foundation of responsible and reproducible scientific practice. The aim is to make their PhD research easier (for them) and more robust, as well as to prepare them for the gradually changing scientific landscape (in terms of reward structures, prioritization of outputs, and acceptable quality standards).

Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Neuroscience and Neurology

This course, offered in cooperation with the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, started in Summer 2020. It covers the use of MRI in research and clinical practice with a focus on the central nervous system. Topics include imaging neuroanatomy, MR physics, basic and advanced MRI techniques, as well as image processing. It is targeted towards MSc / PhD students, medical students, and anyone using MRI in their work.
